This website is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd on behalf of Rusk, based in Paarl, Western Cape. The site is intended for customers, wholesale buyers, hospitality clients and anyone seeking information about our products, stockists, delivery options or gift services.
You may use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with its operation, security or availability. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, copy content for commercial use without permission, or use the site in a manner that could damage our business or other users.

2. Product information, ingredients and availability
We make every reasonable effort to keep product descriptions, ingredient information, pack sizes and pricing accurate. However, some details may change from time to time due to production updates, ingredient availability or changes in supplier costs. Product images are provided for general reference and may differ slightly from the item delivered.
Our rusks are prepared in a food production environment and may contain or come into contact with common allergens. Customers with dietary concerns should check product details carefully before ordering, and if needed contact us at bakery@rusk.co.za for clarification. We try to keep stock current but certain items may be unavailable during peak demand, especially around holidays and corporate gifting periods.

3. Ordering, payment and pricing
Orders placed through the website, by email or through wholesale enquiries are subject to acceptance by Rusk. A submitted order does not mean that the order has been accepted until it has been confirmed by us. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where pricing is incorrect, stock is unavailable, payment is not received or there is a reasonable concern about misuse.
All prices are listed in South African Rand unless stated otherwise. Payment terms may differ for retail, corporate, fundraising, hospitality and wholesale accounts. If an order requires special handling or custom packing, the final price may reflect packaging, labour and delivery charges. Customers are responsible for providing correct billing and delivery details, and for checking their order confirmation promptly.
4. Delivery across South Africa and local collection
We deliver nationwide, including Paarl, Wellington, Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, Somerset West and Durbanville, subject to courier coverage and service availability. Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by weather, road conditions, public holidays, load-shedding, high order volumes or courier delays. A delay does not automatically cancel the order or entitle the customer to damages.
Where a customer requests collection, the collection time and address will be confirmed separately. The buyer must ensure that someone is available to receive the order at the delivery address. If a parcel is returned because of an incorrect address, refusal, or repeated failed delivery attempts, extra charges may apply.
- Deliveries may take longer during peak season or to remote areas.
- Any special delivery instructions should be provided before dispatch.
- Risk may pass on dispatch, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Intellectual property and content rights
All text, product descriptions, photographs, logos, layouts and other site content remain the property of Rusk or its licensors unless stated otherwise. You may view and print content for personal or internal business use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Any feedback, suggestions or reviews submitted to us may be used to improve our services, marketing or customer communication. By sending us material, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party. We may remove or ignore content that is unlawful, misleading or inappropriate, should that become necessary.
6. Liability, complaints and governing law
We take care in producing and supplying our goods, but we do not guarantee that the site will always be available, error free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, Rusk and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd will not be liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or damage arising from misuse of the site or reliance on information that has not been confirmed by us.
If you have a complaint about an order, please contact us as soon as possible at bakery@rusk.co.za with your order details and a clear description of the issue. We will assess the matter and respond within a reasonable time. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any dispute will be handled in the South African courts. If a term is found unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
