Freshly baked rusks for everyday comfort
Some snacks are for the road, some are for the tea tin, and some are for the table after a long morning. Our buttermilk rusks and muesli rusks are baked for those everyday moments when something simple and familiar goes down well. The flavour is home-style, with a proper crunch and the kind of texture that holds up to coffee, tea or warm milk without falling apart too fast.
We keep the range focused because that is what clients ask for again and again. There is no fuss, just good baking, steady quality and batches that arrive as expected. That matters in homes, guest houses and small businesses alike, especially when stock needs to be right first time.
What we supply across South Africa
Rusk supplies individual customers, families, retailers and trade buyers from Paarl to the rest of the country. Some customers order a single box for the pantry, while others need regular cartons for shelves, hampers or breakfast service. We handle small orders and larger runs with the same care, so the product lands in good condition and ready to enjoy.
- Buttermilk rusks for a classic, home-style choice
- Muesli rusks for a hearty option with a bit more bite
- Online orders for direct delivery nationwide
- Wholesale supply for shops, cafés and hospitality buyers
- Corporate gifting, sample boxes and custom hampers
- Event orders, fundraiser orders and subscription packs
For homes and businesses alike, consistency counts. Customers want the same size, the same crunch and the same flavour each time, and that is what we aim to deliver. It keeps reordering simple and cuts down on waste.
How we work from our Paarl base
Our production is run from Paarl in the Western Cape, with the team focused on baking, packing and order handling in a practical way. Marli van der Merwe leads the business as Managing Director, with Thabo Mokoena overseeing operations, Anika Smit heading the baking, Liyema Jacobs managing production, Zanele Khumalo coordinating customer orders, and Pieter le Roux handling wholesale accounts. That structure keeps the bakery side and the customer side working together.
Orders are packed with care for delivery, wholesale collection or scheduled supply. We keep an eye on the details that matter in South African conditions too, like packaging that travels well in summer heat and product that stays in good shape through a load-shedding schedule or a long courier run. A box that arrives on time and intact is half the job done.
For larger customers, we can plan around regular delivery dates, bulk packing and varied order sizes. For household buyers, the process is simple enough to place an order without fuss. The point is to keep it practical and reliable, not overcomplicated.
